Geon-woo trying to fix the roof for Jung Joo. Can he persevere?
Nope. He gives up and thinks it’s better to get a professional to do it.
A call from Mok Ji-won the horrible girl makes him abandon his promise to Jung Joo (not that I expected him to really fix her roof…)
Geon-woo wonders what to whip up for Ji-won the undeserving girl. Ugh.
He remembers her favorite champagne…oh Geon-woo, why you look so cute?
Since his credit card is stopped by Hyung, and he is in fact a poor guy, he decides to “borrow” Jung Joo’s gold key to get some cash to buy Ji-won’s champagne. Double ugh.
But then he gets to the airport and Ji-won the horrible tells him she can’t meet him. Cue deflated face.
Geon-woo heads for Hyung’s resort, only to see Ji-won there. She not only lied about the reason that she can’t meet him, she also rejected his call while waiting for his hyung. Cue defeated face.
And so Geon-woo is dejected for the rest of the day, despite the food being done and the table is set. I bet the restaurant is closed for the entire just because Ji-won the horrible said she’s coming (but ended up didn’t). Jung Joo comes over to give him a piece of her mind, since it’s raining heavily at night and her derelict house is leaking everywhere, she has nowhere to sleep and Geon-woo did offer her his place.
He gets angry at her, when she demands that he return her the key that he “borrowed”, and he starts throwing coins around, telling her to pick up whatever he’s returning her. You horrible Geun-woo, I seriously can’t.
Jung Joo calls him a piece of trash! You deserve it, stupid Geon-woo!
He gets worried about Jung Joo returning to her leaky house and drags her back to his restaurant instead.
Chef Geon-woo at work!
They end up drinking and Geon-woo gives her his restaurant! For free! The perks of being rich.
He thinks Jung Joo’s going to die soon, and pulls her for a teary embrace. “I’ll give you this place for free until you die. Don’t die, Jung Joo-ya,” he cried. I LOLed.
He meets with Ji-won the horrid, and the next moment he’s seeking out his noona, asking for 50 million won from her. I’m pretty sure he doesn’t have his private jet and Jeju-do is not next door to Seoul…
Geon-woo tries to back out of his promise to Jung Joo, just because Ji-won the horrid said she’ll come by one day. Ugh. He starts lying that the kitchen is faulty, blah blah.
Two customers arrive and Jung Joo turns them away, because she still hasn’t figure out what can she sell from now on. But Geon-woo tells them to be seated, and tells Jung Joo he can cook. His new menu attracts many customers.
It’s time to call it a day, and Geon-woo has actually moved out of his rented place (because he thought he’s moving back to Seoul). He nonchalantly tries to share the little storage room where Jung Joo has now call it her home, but is chased out by her. Hee.
On the phone again with Ji-won the horrid. She’s just playing you, you eejit! Look at his happy face. UGH!!
He tries to sneak back to the storage room to sleep, but is kicked by Jung Joo. Ooi, stop kicking my namja!
He ends up hiding in a blanket, like a cocoon, at the other side of the room. Jung Joo pretends she never see him.
